Philosophy of Friendship

What is friendship and, in particular, what are its perils and promise?

This is a question that has puzzled thinkers ever since Socrates. 'We think we're friends but just what friendship is we haven't been able to say.

Friendship is the most dangerous love of all because the other loves can exist without communication, but friendship is totally based on it.

If what is communicated is evil, vain and frivolous, then the friendship is evil, vain and frivolous. For a true and genuine friendship to exist, something good has to be communicated.

Ofcourse, a true friend stabs you in the front. But real meaning of it is never transparent. Neither i have the right words of my opinion on this. But i can say that a friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself and never demands you to be of ..... huh...

But all that we know is that a man becomes a friend whenever being loved he loves in return.

huh... its really tough to put all that i have in my mind for this topic....

I can write on anything but could not on perils of friendship or relationship... Cos' it would seem to be addressing my friend...

Actually speaking, this title came up as i felt something due to my friend... But nevermind... after all, its my own friend...

From a business perspective, i can say why a relationship fails...
